DARREL BRADY LIONS GARDEN

Lion Fred Marble sets a sprinkler for the watering system in the downtown Forest Grove community flower garden built by Forest Grove Lions.

The garden is named for the late Lion Darrel Brady who spent many hours planning, tending and watering his namesake.

Club members replant and share in continuous maintenance of the garden throughout the growing season each year.

STUDENT VISION SCREENINGS

Oregon law mandates annual vision testing of all public elementary students by the age of 7. Oregon Lions Clubs take on this task at no cost to the public.

During the past year, Forest Grove Lions screened 3,200 elementary school children to detect vision deficiencies. Students found in need of further examination and care are referred to professional providers.
